A senior official from the Australian division of KIA confirmed the company’s active involvement in the pickup truck development, confirming its dedication to designing a vehicle that represents great functionality and fit for the purpose it was created for. In line with this objective, KIA has communicated to its dealers that the truck will feature a diesel engine, delivering a substantial payload capacity of 1,000 kg and an impressive towing capability of 3,500 kg, aligning it closely with the capabilities of the Hilux and Ranger.

Customers will have the option of either Front or rear-wheel drive in addition to the single- or double-cab variations, meeting a variety of preferences and needs. Expectations are high for a unique and modern appearance, despite KIA’s refusal to make public particular design components.
The new KIA truck may feature a 4-cylinder and a V6 turbo diesel engine under the hood thanks to the technological cooperation between KIA and Hyundai. Possible engine choices might include a powerful 3.0-liter turbo diesel V6 engine with an output of 246 horsepower and 560 Nm, as well as a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder turbo-diesel model that produces 198 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque.
